This Is How Chris Pratt Told Anna Faris He Was Proposing to Katherine Schwarzenegger

Chris Pratt told ex-wife Anna Faris about his engagement to Katherine Schwarzenegger before sharing the news to Instagram, Faris revealed on Tuesday’s episode of her podcast.

“Chris texted me this morning and he was like, you know, ‘I proposed to Katherine last night,'” she explained on Anna Faris is Unqualified . “I was like ‘Ah! That’s amazing.'” The actress also revealed that she half-jokingly offered to officiate Schwarzenegger and Pratt’s wedding. “And I texted him back, ‘Just want to remind you, I’m an ordained minister,'” Faris said, adding that she’s “not very good at it.”

It appears that Faris, however, already knew her ex was going to pop the question. “I knew that it was going to happen,” she said. “I love her, and I love him, and I’m just so happy that they found each other.”

She went on to acknowledge that she knows people are looking for some sort of bitter or negative reaction from her, but that she is genuinely looking forward to expanding their family. “The truth is there isn’t any bitterness,” Faris said, “and I’m just so happy we’re all really happy.”

 “They’re both f**king amazing people, and I’m so happy,” she reiterated.

Faris’ insistence that she is totally cool with her ex’s engagement did nothing to stop Twitter from siding with her regardless.
