For those unfamiliar with the family’s activities, Peanut Butter was a recurring character on Teigen’s social media accounts.
Peanut Butter joined the family in March of 2019 and Teigen often posted daughter Luna playing with him.
Knowing Teigen recently went on a Twitter detox, people were curious as to when the death actually happened.

Teigen made sure to clarify that Luna handled everything OK and life and death are open topics.
she is okay. we are very open about life and death in the house and it was all good teachable moments, especially since she still asks about baby and stuff <3

Recently, the family experienced the devastating loss of their unborn child and Teigen has been open about her grief and how the family has been managing the aftermath. At the end of September, Teigen announced her miscarriage in a heart-wrenching post. Since then, she has given us glimpses of how Luna has been grieving in her own sweet way.
While Luna and family are still reeling from that loss, it looks like they’ve moved on from Peanut Butter just fine.

There appears to be a new Peanut Butter in town, and this one has its own Christmas stocking. We think Teigen and fam will be OK with Peanut Butter 2.0 to ease the pain.
