Great, Drake Just Cursed GoT’s Arya Stark In His BBMAs Speech

Game of Thrones is on the forefront of everyone’s minds. With it being the final season of the series, fans everywhere are keeping an extra eye on the show and what is happening, all while demanding answers to the burning questions we’ve had since Season 1. It seems that literally, everyone is a fan—including Toronto rapper, Drake.

During the Billboard Music Awards Wednesday night, Drake accepted the award for “Billboard 200 Album” for his last album, Scorpion. He had a lot of people to thank while giving his acceptance speech. Like most artists, he started off with his friends and family.

But, at the end of his speech, the rapper gave a big ole thank you to our girl Arya Stark, saying: “And shout out to Arya Stark for putting in that work last week, ayyy!”

Honestly, Drake is always a huge mood—but this solidified it indefinitely. Twitter could not get over the fact that he stans Arya Stark the same way the rest of us do.

But some people are now convinced that Drake just deadass cursed Arya Stark for good. Meaning that, if Drake’s track record is any indication, Arya’s character will be killed off imminently.

For those unfamiliar, a Drake affiliation means a definite L, particularly when it comes to sports. As Daniel Tran noted in an article on The Tylt, “Every squad (Drake) has repped (AlabamaConor McGregor, the Toronto RaptorsKentucky and Serena Williams) have taken a beating in their respective sports after his ringing endorsement.”

In other words: A Drake endorsement means doom.

If Arya dies in Season 8 of Game of Thrones, we know who to blame.
