Olivia Jade Giannulli, 21, took a prolonged social media break a few months ago when her mother faced criminal charges and jail time for the college admissions scandal that broke a few years ago.
Olivia Jade is back now and is retorting to commenters who point out the crimes that rocked her family.
Olivia Jade Giannulli posted a TikTok video this weekend replying to someone’s “How’s collage?” question. Giannulli made light of both the question and its spelling error.
“Thank you for asking. It’s pretty good,” she said. “I actually love collaging. I’m working on this really f—ing sick scrapbook that I have to show you guys soon.”
“It’s chef’s kiss — beautiful work I’ve done,” she added.
Since Giannulli’s return to YouTube in January, after her mother’s release from prison, she has been very active on social media.
Lori Loughlin, Giannulli’s mother, and her husband Mossimo Giannulli were given prison sentences last year after they plead guilty to the charges that stemmed from the admissions scandal. Mossimo remains in prison.
Giannulli has previously spoken about the scandal, in which her parents falsified her application documents and ragingly cheated to get their academically-mediocre daughter into a good university. She sat down on Red Table Talk with hosts Jada Pinkett Smith, Willow Smith, and Adrienne Banfield-Norris and said:
“I’m not trying to victimize myself. I don’t want pity — I don’t deserve pity. We messed up. I just want a second chance to be like, ‘I recognize I messed up.’ I never got to say, ‘I’m really sorry that this happened,’ or ‘I really own that this was a big mess-up on everybody’s part,’ but I think everybody feels that way in my family right now.”
Loughlin has spent time with her family and worked on her court-ordered community service since she was released from prison. A source spoke to PEOPLE magazine:
“Lori is able to live a private life in Hidden Hills. She spends a lot of time at home, does yoga and sees her daughters. She has been very focused on completing her court-ordered community service. She continues to be involved in charity. She always enjoyed charity work.”
Loughlin’s husband is expected to be released on April 17th.
