Vanessa “Like, yeah, people are gonna die” Hudgens is back in the news for some more COVID-19 malarkey of her own making.
See, Hudgens was a part of the March 2020 COVID-19 celebrity freak-out, which saw the now-infamous “Imagine” video and celebrities complaining about being quarantined in their mansions. Bigger problems are happening, you guys!
But back to Hudgens.
The actor/singer/walking Coachella billboard was one of the first celebrities to catch heat for their bad take.
Last March, Hudgens uploaded an Instagram video complaining about social distancing procedures.
Vanessa Hudgens' career will be dead after posting this. It's like inevitable. 💀 pic.twitter.com/qYX2DMFjJ2

“Um, yeah, ’til July sounds like a bunch of bulls—. I’m sorry,” she said in the video. “It’s a virus, I get it. Like, I respect it. But at the same time, like, even if everybody gets it, like, yeah, people are gonna die, which is terrible but, like, inevitable?”
We are well past July and things are even worse.
So, let’s check in on Hudgens now that we’re almost a year removed from those remarks.
She is… oh.
She’s still not taking COVID-19 seriously. Surprising.
Currently, Hudgens is in Scotland for an upcoming film. The country is currently on a national lockdown, which began Jan. 5, 2021, and will remain in place until at least mid-February.
Under lockdown rules, residents are only allowed to leave home if it is deemed essential. Examples include work, appointments, grocery shopping, etc. Schools and non-essential stores are required to close, while borders have been shut for non-essential travel with anyone arriving required to quarantine.
Scotland is taking lockdown seriously to prevent the spread of the new COVID-19 discovered in the U.K.
Not taking lockdown seriously? Hudgens, who recently uploaded images of her out and about in Scotland. And it’s causing some chatter.
Vanessa Hudgens taking a photo in south queensferry is probably the most interesting thing to happen in Scotland this year because of this stupit lockdown

While most of the comments are negative toward Hudgens, some people pointed out a little hypocrisy.
it’s just so funny to me how vanessa hudgens is getting fucking hate for being in scotland for WORK while dua lipa has been going on whole ass vacations and the most I’ve seen are people making jokes about it. very interesting. **btw i love dua but wow at the double standards**

Vanessa Hudgens getting hate for going on a government allowed daily walk & posting a picture whilst out on it which 100% of the public are perfectly also in their rights to do? Also the film is literally giving WORK to a lot of people in the arts in Scotland after a tough year.

Regardless of where you fall, wear a mask, stay inside and social distance when you have to leave.
