HBO released some new Game of Thrones photos on Thursday, each featuring one of the characters sitting in the iron throne. The one of Jon Snow shows him as his usual brooding self. Not a light-hearted man, that one.
Win or die #ForTheThrone.

But one person tweeted something that stopped and made us think.

That’s a picture of Ned Stark sitting on the throne in the EXACT SAME POSITION. And someone posted a side-by-side picture on Reddit showing the similarity. It obviously wasn’t an accident—just like everything else on the show, it’s got a deeper meaning.
So does it mean that Jon Snow is going to end up just like Ned? Which, if you’ll remember, was headless. Not the best. (And sorry, that can’t count as a spoiler because if you haven’t started watching Game of Thrones yet, GET ON IT already, everyone else wants to talk about it!)
