The Game of Thrones series finale tied up a lot of loose ends but mostly left us wanting more.
As is custom on social media, fans complained about pretty much everything that happened in season 8.

To recap, the entire series ended basically like this:
Daenerys went to go attack King’s Landing to take the throne from Cersei and she bugged out and lost her cool—instead of killing Cersei like she was supposed to do, she burnt the entire city (with innocent men, women, and children in it) to the ground. Basically, she slaughtered an entire city—turning into the Mad Queen. Tyrion basically told Jon he has to “do his duty” and take care of business. So, Jon stabs Dany and she dies. Drogon gets so hurt that his mother is dead, he burns the Iron Throne to a crisp—therefore, no one technically took the Throne.
Weeks later after Dany’s death, the remaining characters on the show meet at King’s Landing in a “council” to decide what the fuck to do with the “King/Queen” title of the 7 Kingdoms. After Tyrion gives a speech, as usual, they all decide Bran Stark should be the King—Bran the Broken. But, Sansa says the North will go back to being a free country—so it’s 6 Kingdoms, not 7. Arya decides to sail “West of Westeros” aka becomes Christina Columbus, Sansa becomes Queen of Winterfell, and Jon Snow is sentenced to live his life out at Castle Black—although I’m not sure what they’re “watching” for now that the Night King and his army are dead.
Many people thought this ending was absolute trash—let alone the entire season. Fans claim it was rushed, poorly written, and the acting was subpar (definitely not their best). But, Kit Harington (Jon Snow) has a message to all of those fans who are online bitching, moaning, and petitioning the final season.
In an interview with Esquire, Harington said:
Whatever critic spends half an hour writing about this season and makes their judgement on it, in my head they can go f–k themselves. Because I know how much work was put into this.
He apologized for sounding harsh, but, said that the show means “too much to him” to let anyone drag it in such a way.
A lot of jobs, everyone goes back to their apartments at the end of the day. They have their lives and they have their families and they have their girlfriends or boyfriends back home. I think part of what made [‘GoT’] successful was the fact that we got on likea family. Everyone who came in was welcomed into the family.
You heard it here, folks, Kit Harington says you and your hating vibes can go fuck themselves.
