You might not have heard of Tanerelle before today, but you’re about to hear from her in her own words. Tanerelle—singer, songwriter, all around style icon—is making moves in women’s body positivity and letting her haters know where they can stick it. I have a feeling it’s not going to be the last you hear from her, either.
Pop singer Tanerelle attended the BET Awards over the weekend looking fine as hell, but it seems like some haters had a problem with her look.
According to the singer, people were criticizing her natural breasts and telling her to “lift” them.
And Tanerélle clapped back—hard.

Later she followed up on Instagram to offer up some more thoughts on body positivity and some more scorching hot fire at the dusty losers criticizing her body.

Tanerélle explained that she did, in fact, consider a little lift, but realized she didn’t need or want one.
“According to some I missed a critical step yesterday when getting ready,” she wrote. “What they don’t know is I literally had a fat ass piece of tape stuck from the bottom of my left boob to the top of my shoulder, looked at it & made a conscious decision to take it off because I actually loved the way my natural breasts looked in comparison to the ‘perfect’ option.”
Tanerelle closed with a passionate rallying cry of female body positivity.
“Your body, no matter what it looks like is doing all it can everyday to keep you alive and thriving, that to me deserves all the fucking love and care I can give, so I’m gonna. Cheers to the tits!!! small tits, big tits, fake tits, no tits, all tits! And cheers to being a f*cking woman,” she wrote.
And women were here for it. Tanerelle got praise on Twitter and Instagram for standing up for natural women everywhere.

From a naturally gifted woman, myself, who was trying on bathing suits yesterday afternoon and didn’t purchase 1 b/c I thought my boobs were too “saggy”, I say THANK YOU!
Your powerful words have moved me enough to go back, purchase 1 and not give a F*(& !!!!

I debated getting my nipples pierced for years because my breasts are saggy as a result of breastfeeding. I’m glad I finally got them pierced; seeing your pictures makes me happy to see women owning their bodies. To each their own; if women want implants, cool. If not, cool.

Many women told her she gave them the confidence to go braless too.

I’m never gonna wear a bra ever again, the child has given me freedom. The damn thing is extremely uncomfortable anyway, I don’t remember ever enjoying a bra on my skin. pic.twitter.com/g1IqeZdndk
