Look, I’m a sucker for any kind of Disney fan art, particularly if it’s creative, twisted, or otherwise well-executed. That’s why I love Finnish artist Jirka Väätäinen’s incredibly realistic portraits of animated Disney characters. Also, these real-life Disney dads are kinda hot as hell.
You might have seen some of Jirka Väätäinen’s work in the past, he creates lifelike portraits of Disney characters that still manage to capture the emotion of their cartoon counterparts.
He’s worked his magic on several of the Disney princesses, princes, villains, and even more minor characters like Tinkerbell.
For Father’s Day, Jirka decided to give his trademark glow-up to some of the most Famous Disney dads—check out Zaddy Zeus from Hercules.
Somber Chief Powhatan from Pocahontas is spot-on, check out his cheekbones.
Ariel’s broad-chested dad King Triton from Little Mermaid can get it.
So can Aladdin’s erstwhile dad Cassim AKA the King of Thieves.
Finally, Tarzan’s late father is just a remarkable likeness.
