In an effort to accommodate guests with plant-based diets, they introduced their new Impossible breakfast sausages, and the boomers of Facebook came running with criticism. And they are furious.
“Discover new meat frontiers. Experience the out-of-this-world flavor of Impossible™ Sausage Made From Plants next time you Build Your Own Breakfast.”
The backlash came immediately, including comments saying the chain is now “woke”.
The drama even made its way to Twitter, where people roasted the folks who are so upset about Cracker Barrel’s latest menu item.
Some people took the opportunity to complain about other menu items and decisions by the company.
Of course, Twitter users are having a field day.
