Dad Holds Onto Birthday Card For 28 Years To Troll Son

When it comes to family trolls, this dad is the champion for his long con. He held onto something for 28 hot dang years, just to stick it to his son.

What a legend.

We learned about the ultimate dad troll through his son, Rob Witts, who posted the story on Twitter:

The tweet shows the front and inside of a homemade birthday card, one Witts made for his father’s 42nd birthday. The front says:

“HEY, EVERYBODY!

HE’S

42!

OF COURSE…

The inside reads:

…WE WON’T DRAW ATTENTION TO IT WILL WE

HAPPY 42ND BIRTHDAY DAD!

Well, his dad kept that card in a safe spot and re-discovered it right before his son hit the big 4-2 milestone.

Dad took the card, crossed out “DAD” and wrote “Rob” and crossed out “ROBBIE” and wrote “Dad.”

Inside, dad wrote:

“I guess if you wait long enough, what goes round comes round!”

Witts’ tweet went viral, receiving 106.5k likes and some good insight on other people’s family dynamics. And it’s a treat.

There’s something about a family troll that’s just a little better than any other kind of troll.

This mom held onto those homemade coupons that kids make and bust them out once they were long forgotten about. Genius.

Parents and children, trolling each other since the dawn of time. It’s truly a beautiful thing to see.
