“Sad” funny is my favorite kind of funny because I am a sad but funny person. Honestly, it’s that simple.
I spend a good chunk of my free time laughing not at the misfortunes of others, but at my own personal failings as a human being. For one, I keep complaining that I waste too much time during the day, but it never occurs to me that I should maybe wake up before 11 AM.
Is that sad? Sure. I’m an adult man who lives like a 14-year-old. But, it’s also funny. Right? Uh oh.
The following people found the balance Mr. Miyagi kept harping on. For these people, however, that balance was not a positive thing.
