“Post A Statement That Will Reunite America” — A Thread (25 Tweets)

While we await the final counting of votes in the 2020 presidential election, it remains to be seen whether former Vice President Joe Biden will indeed collect the remaining electoral college votes needed to reach 270 and clinch the win. If Biden does win—with the outcome looking optimistic in his favor—he’s got a long road ahead of him to attempt to heal a fractured, divided county and reunite America.

It’s certainly going to be easier said than done, after four years of Trump has succeeded in little else than turning Americans against one another. But there’s got to be some things we all can agree on, right? Such was the question posed by sports blogger and podcaster Dan Clark, who tweeted on Wednesday after the election: “Post a statement that reunites America.”

Just because some of us voted for Biden and some of us voted for Trump doesn’t mean that we still don’t share fleeting commonalities, as you can see from the various responses below.
