Scammers are becoming increasingly better at finding new ways to get ahold of our private information. Older folks are typically the target of most of these scams, but sometimes the scammer has a new trick up their sleeve. You never know when you may fall for something, so it’s good to educate yourself whenever the opportunity arises.

Others responded with some thoughts on how to protect yourself in such an event. Stay safe out there!
