Scammers are becoming increasingly better at finding new ways to get ahold of our private information. Older folks are typically the target of most of these scams, but sometimes the scammer has a new trick up their sleeve. You never know when you may fall for something, so it’s good to educate yourself whenever the opportunity arises.
Lawyer Peter Gunst recently tweeted about a scam he almost fell for when a scammer pretended to be his bank. The thread is a good reminder to be careful when sharing information, such as account numbers and passwords.
