Laundry blows. It blows so much that sometimes it’s just easier to buy new socks and underwear instead of going through all laundry’s drama.
You have to sort the clothes, wash them, try to remember to take them out of the wash and into the dryer, iron out any wrinkles, fold the clothes and finally, FIN*AL*LY put the clothes away.
It’s awful!
If laundry is tough enough on one person, imagine the challenge it is for Britni Church, who has a family of 14.
Actually, you don’t have to imagine, thanks to Church’s TikTok account, which chronicled what a 14-person laundry pile looks like.
She introduced the laundry pile by sharing something a lot of us have in common: that one place that’s not supposed to be where laundry goes, but it’s where laundry goes.
That place for Church is her husband’s pool table. As well as the family’s folding table. And the floor.
Her husband had a pool tournament and needed the table to practice. Church — not knowing what she was getting into — asked him to bring it up and she would fold it.
Well, here is a portion of the clean clothing.
In her second TikTok video, Church showcased the growing laundry pile in all its glory.
The pile ended up being as tall as one of their 11 children.
Instead of getting to work, Church and her kids procrastinated by making their viral TikToks and finding long-lost treasures.
Some of the commenters encouraged Church, with one saying to just leave it for another day.
Something Church considered. (We don’t blame her.)
Church’s most-viral post, though, was a time-lapse videos of the laundry being folded.
