If you call an emergency babysitter, that means you have an emergency… not that the children’s father is home and he simply doesn’t want to help out. A 17-year-old babysitter went to Reddit’s AITA board to explain the bizarre and frustrating situation she was left in after a family she babysits for did exactly this.
The teenager said she loses her cool on the father and calls him “pointless” because he won’t help her and now faces backlash from her family. But really, was she wrong?
Keep in mind how you would feel if the situation was reversed and the mother was home doing something similar. Would the outrage be okay then?
