Once I was at the zoo and I saw a 9-year-old feeding an exotic bird a Cheeze-it. I checked to see if he had a parent in earshot and then told him that human food was poisonous to birds and now it was for sure going to die. What I’m trying to say is that if a kid is doing something stupid, adults should be able to tell them to knock that shit off.
Speaking as a former waitress, kids in restaurants are always out of control. I get that their parents are trying to enjoy a single moment of adult time, but it’s frustrating when the kids are running around the restaurant completely unsupervised.
Someone on Reddit corrected a restaurant kid and unfortunately paid the price for their bravery.
