Man Asks If He’s Wrong For Making Wife Attend His Surgery Instead Of Friend’s Wedding

Being married means you pretty much always have someone around you. It can be a good thing when you need someone, but it also means you’ll have to make some sacrifices. Wedding vows include “in sickness and in health,” but does that mean 24/7 you need to be by their side when your partner is sick? Or can you take time for yourself in order to serve them better?

A man on Reddit asked if he’s wrong for asking his wife to skip her best friend’s wedding in order to be with him for a surgery. It seems like an obvious request, but many people on Reddit decided she should be able to go to the wedding because she was constantly making sacrifices for him.
