Many people have hidden talents they don’t often get to showcase. Some are ultra-fast runners, some are surprisingly good at drinking, and some are top-level experts in unique fields of work. But whatever your hidden talent is, there’s always a cocky novice who thinks they’re an expert.
Reddit users are sharing stories of times they were underestimated or challenged by someone who didn’t know they were an expert.

Many stories ended in embarrassed challengers who learned their lesson when they lost a bet (sometimes more than once).
