It’s hard to imagine what it’s like growing up insanely rich. Most rich people probably don’t try too hard to imagine what it’s like growing up poor, but a few of them do eventually get to find out. On r/AskReddit, user u/decrypted asked, “People who grew up rich but turned out poor what is your story?”
It turns out there are some real-life Schitt’s Creek families out there. People who were sure they’d never run out of funds who ended up out on their asses eventually. Some of them learned from it, some of them are still better, and some claim to be happier now than they were when they had wealth.
