It’s important to let teens know that hard work comes with reward. Cultivating that value in a person is critical to making a productive human being. Discouraging this is how you get misanthropes and drifters.
Recently, someone on Reddit asked for advice on a situation involving her son and sister. She laid out her story and the internet gave advive, and judgement.
She asked, “Am I wrong for not giving my sister her wedding dress because she didn’t invited my underage son?”
Here’s what happened.
The comments were overwhelmingly in favor of the original poster.
What do you think was the right move here? Would you keep the dress too? Seems kind of ridiculous to want the dress if you aren’t letting him come to the wedding.
