A recent AskReddit post questioned: “Would you give candy to an adult trick or treater?”
Halloween, the holiday that has always had an equal amount of lovers and haters. As a kid, trick-or-treating was what I looked forward to the most. Personally, I was just excited to show people my costume, door-to-door Mormon style. But for most children, getting as much candy as they could was the goal for the night.
As I got older- around the age of 14, I was told by my parents that I was “too old” to go trick-or-treating anymore. It wasn’t even because of my age, but more so that the littler kids could get a chance at a good candy haul. I didn’t really have an issue with the new rule, but some people just can’t be stopped. An AskReddit post wondered: “Would you give candy to an adult trick or treater?” Below are 20 of the most justified responses.
