Guy Gets Roasted By Tinder Match Over His Flip Flops And Twitter Joined In

Podcast host for She Rates Dogs, Mat George, hasn’t been doing much better with romance than anyone else this year, it seems. Ironically, his podcast is an offshoot of a Twitter account that posts and mocks terrible dudes, so there are a lot of Tinder match convos on there.

When George shared his own, it was only fitting that he was getting some negative messages himself. The twist is that he actually liked it.

“My tinder match just roasted the f—k out of me as an opener and I’m kinda into it,” he wrote, sharing screenshots of the match’s opener and the picture they were roasting. The match pretended to be having a conversation as Mat, with the person who invited Mat to her graduation ceremony.

“Omg Mat can you please come to my graduation ceremony?” they wrote, inserting a wide-eyed emoji. “I worked so hard and I’m graduating with honors and it would mean the world if you came!!”

The imaginary version of Mat the date was embodying replied, “Yes of course!! I can’t wait to wear my flip flops!”

And yes, Mat did wear flip flops to someone’s graduation at some point in his life. It’s a cute picture, though:

Personally, I’m not interested in anyone who is critical from the JUMP, but Mat likes a light roasting now and then and that’s fine.

Maybe he likes it a lot, because when he shared this series of events on Twitter, everyone else started coming for his flip flops, too:
