Tattoo Artist Gets Tusks Over His Teeth To Look Like An Orc

A body-modification enthusiast took things to the next level when he paid £400 (~$525) to have artificial tusks added to his bottom teeth.

Orc, a 41-year-old tattoo artist from Iguatemi, Brazil, has been interested in tattoos and body modifications for nearly three decades. He was 15 when he got his first tattoo and now has 80 percent of his entire body tattooed — including his eyes.

“My mum doesn’t like it, my dad tolerates it and my friends find it weird,” Orc said in an interview with The Daily Mail.

While Orc has been raising his tattoo count over the years, body modification began only six years ago. He has eight subdermal piercings and has had his tongue split. With the tusks added, Orc now resembles an orc, a fictional figure found in fantasy popular culture, from Lord of the Rings to World of Warcraft. Even though he resembles these fictional creatures, Orc’s inspiration is all his own.

“I am trying to be myself, these are just my ideas, my inspirations coming from the heart,” he told The Daily Mail. “I am not inspired by anyone.”

Other than his party-pooping family and friends, Orc gets a lot of positive reactions over his look. He says these comments help motivate him to get more work done and any negativity toward his choices is shaken off.

“Bad people exist everywhere and are always around… but they don’t shake me.”

After the tusks, it’s not certain what Orc’s next move will be. Know, however, that he will be living by his motto: “Live, be happy, travel, love. Do whatever you want. Life goes by fast and death is certain.”
