A Chik-fil-A customer was furious after a manager allegedly called the police over … extra sauce.
That’s what Tiktoker @adelelaresee said happened after she and her partner went to a Chik-fil-A in Nevada. (Scroll to the end for the full video.)
In the video, we see a manager on the phone telling police that two customers were “causing a large scene and they won’t leave.”
The woman responded: “Just so you know, you’ll be all over TikTok.”
In the description, she said that they were banned from the restaurant, writing: “I’m trespassed from Chik-fil-A over sauce!”
According to the text in the video, the manager said the couple was only allowed 5 sauces on a $60 order. And apparently, that’s strictly enforced!
In a followup video, she and her partner explained the situation.
The man said: ““Now we had a full order. We had two spicy chicken deluxe sandwiches, we had two macaroni and cheeses, we had a waffle fry, she got a salad, we had a thirty piece nugget, lot of food.”
But the manager said they would only get five sauces for the order. And when they asked for me, he said that he would be enforcing a strict 5-sauce-only policy.
“Starting with us,” she said.
An argument ensued. Finally, the manager told them he was calling the cops. “He said he was going to call the police and told me to leave,” the man said.
The woman said she started recording when he called the police because “I was in shock that he actually called the police over sauce,” she said.
She added: “There wasn’t a disturbance. We were literally just asking for more sauce.”
Commenters were stunned at the sauce restriction. Many said they’ve gotten as many sauces as they want.
Here are both videos. What do you think, should the Chik-fil-A manager have called the police over extra sauce?
