As you sit down at your favorite restaurant or cafe, you’re greeted by a friendly server who’s ready to take your order and make your dining experience as enjoyable as possible. While it may seem like a simple interaction, the way you treat your server can have a significant impact on their day and your overall experience.
However, you are paying for a service. How far should that courtesy extend? I mean, you’re already ALSO tipping. What are the rules?
Recently, Tiktoker @nicksmostcommonw shared a video of himself cleaning up the table for his server, sparking a debate about “decency and courtesy.”
Even going as far as to do all that, then leave a tip.
I mean, yeah. Tip your servers and don’t leave a huge mess at the table. Seems like basic human decency to me.
