This Domino’s driver has gotten some weird pizza delivery instructions — and she showed them off in a video that went viral.
TikToker Holly Laing (@lowkeyhollylaing) shared some unique notes she’s received as a Domino’s driver.
And customers can get very specific about what they want when they’re getting a pizza.
One told her to “shout over the side gate” after she made her delivery.
“I did not do that. Because I’m not going to do that,” Laing said. Another advised, “I’ll be out [in] front of the school in a red hoodie.”
Kinda creepy! “How weird does that sound?” Laing said.
Another gave her very specific driving directions, rather than an address.
“How confusing is that?” Laing asked. “Just give me an address.”
Another just told her to “knock and go.”
“This was like COVID time,” Laing explained. So it makes sense that someone (especially if they were sick with the virus) wouldn’t want a driver to answer the door.
But sadly, due to company policy, she had to wait for someone to answer the door and get their pizza.
And finally, Laing got an unusual request: to give a birthday shoutout to someone.
“Eh???” she said. Correct us if we’re wrong but it’s not exactly in a driver’s job description to say “Happy Birthday.”
The video went viral, with more than 288,000 views. And it sparked a lot of debate — both from customers and delivery drivers.
Commenters were also amazed at the various Domino’s customers and their demands. Some drivers had their own stories of customers who had weird requests.
One things for sure: when it comes to pizza, people can be extremely particular.
