If you’ve flown in the last decade or so, you know all plane etiquette is out the window. Unless you’re in first class (the real first class, not that weird “kind of” first class) you’re basically in a cattle car in the sky.
Recently, New York Tiktoker Surya Garg has a terrible interaction with one of the cattle. A mother asked Surya to give up her window seat so she could sit with her son. The Tiktoker refused, and the mother made it all kinds of awkward for the rest of the flight, mumbling and complaining the whole way.
What do you do in this situation? Do you give up your seat or say no and deal with the consequences?
Surya explains, “I’m in a window seat, I was like, “okay, who’s your son?” And then she points to this 6″4′ man and I don’t really know what to say, because I don’t want to and I don’t really think she like deserves it, because this is definitely just a case of bad planning.”
