It sure would be nice to be able to rip $100 bills to shreds without crying and thinking about the 10% of your student loan you could pay with it.
But that’s what one TikTokker says she witnessed.
At first, Las Vegas waitress Cassie Holland thought she was having a normal shift serving beverages at the golf course where she works.
She was serving drinks to a group of men who were golfing and they were tipping accordingly.
An out-of-town golfer who seemed normal and initially “really nice” then asked Holland to dinner. She politely rejected him and replied that she already had plans and she encouraged him to take his friends instead.
The man then proceeded to tell her that she should cancel her plans, and he whipped out three ripped $100 bills. He instructed her to meet him “in front of this casino at nine, I’ll give you the other half.”
Wait, it gets worse.
After she had rebuffed his offer, she found the “completely useless” ripped bills in the beverage holder in her golf cart.
Holland shared that at first, she was furious about the situation, but she chose to take on a different perspective.
“He’s the dumba** that lost $300,” she told her 537,000 TikTok followers.
Holland continued to vent about her frustrations on TikTok.
“It’s not even like I can show up and get the other halves upfront and then leave because he’ll probably try to start problems with the golf course. So, now I don’t know what to do… I wonder if this has worked for him before?” she shared.
Luckily, TikTok users offered some sage advice for the young woman.
In a follow-up video, Holland shared that the golfer saw her TikTok video and returned to the golf course with the other halves of the bills.
He allegedly told her that, “If I’m going to let $300 slip away, I might as well give it to someone who would do something fun with it.”
Her face says it all… The audacity of some men, I tell ya.
