32-Year-Old Woman With 20-Something Stepkids Claps Back At TikTok Trolls

Not every family is a traditional nuclear family, some families are mixed and one viral stepmom on TikTok wants people to know that that’s totally fine.

Becky’s husband is 14 years older than her and his children—both in their twenties—have become TikTok stars along with their stepmom after sharing their family.

Becky, 32, met Tyler, 46, when she was just 25. He had been out of his first marriage for ten years; they were married five years ago.

Tyler’s two kids are 22 and 21; they were teens when he started to see Becky.

Both children were happy to have their new stepmother and got along well with her. Becky considered herself a “bonus mom to two”.

It sounds like a nice relationship!

Becky shares TikTok videos of the family. She uses the platform to talk about questions she receives and clap back snark about her marriage’s age gap or her parenting style.

When one person commented “You can’t be 32 years old with a 22-year-old stepson and 21-year-old step-daughter. That’s weird. They must hate that,” Becky shared a response of the family dancing around the house.

Another comment said “So basically if she were your real mom she would have had you at 11.” Becky’s response? “That’s right! My husband was popping out babies with his first wife when I was playing Pokemon and pogs in the fifth grade.”

Some people have accused Becky of marrying Tyler “for the money”. She responds by sharing sweet, romantic moments of them both. The ultimate clapback?

Becky shared that she has two degrees and makes her own money.

Followers have asked what the stepkids call her — mom, or something else. Becky explained:

“I was 25 when I met the kids and they were in their teenage years. So for us it wasn’t a transition that made sense or came naturally to start calling me by anything other than my name.”

“Every family is different, every experience is different, everyone’s circumstances are different, kids are different. No matter what the title they’ve always respected me.”

“I have them to thanks for that, I have my husband to thank for that and I have their mom to thank for that.”

The kids’ mom lives near Becky and Tyler and Becky shared that their relationship is healthy too.
