…unless you accidentally go on a date with the guy Nikki Jabs had the serious misfortune of “meeting”.
Nikki shared a story about “Greg”, the date in question. In her recounting, he seems pretty decent: he was kind, well mannered, and they had some fun together.
They had plans to go to dinner and then hit the grand opening of a new retail location for the company where Greg works. On the way to dinner, Greg kept staring at Nikki and she asked what was wrong.

He waved it off but eventually said he didn’t want her to attend the opening dressed the way she was dressed. She offered to change, which he said made him feel “bad”.
A) GIRL. THIS IS CLASSIC BEGINNING ABUSE BEHAVIOR
B) oh no, don’t feel BAD, Greg, your feelings are so much more important than anything else.
She also shared that this was not really the first time Greg pulled something like this; he’d previously noted that she was “overdressed” or wearing too much makeup.
Nikki said she told him either he should be fine with her as-is or he could go without her. So what did Greg do? Greg loaded her into an Uber.
Nikki went to his place, grabbed her crap, and left while he was at this event.
She says she forgot her laptop and when she tried to get it, Greg attempted to apologize, but she was done.
TikTokers were glad she got out of the relationship because, as previously noted, that’s some classic early-abuser signs right there.
After the first video, Nikki explained the whooooole incident in another TikTok.

In the end, though, I think it worked out well, so let’s all agree to be happy for Nikki, who is out of what was bound to become a crappier and crappier relationship. What a jerk!
