TikToker Emmanuel James Rutledge has gone viral for his life hack for how to properly shop for paper towels. He claims that just because one may appear larger doesn’t necessarily mean you get more product.
Rutledge shows two different brands of paper towels and pinches each roll revealing that the smaller one is more dense than the other. In the caption, he writes, “BE CAREFUL SHOPPING FOR PAPER TOWELS!!!”
Pinching the first roll, he says, “What you want to do is pinch that. It don’t have a lot of give,” then he moves on to the other roll adding, “But when you pinch this one, that’s how much paper towel you actually get.”
