Did you know Waffle House had a waffle burger?
It’s true, although this particular one is not on the menu.
TikToker Shantell (@shantellxoxo) showed off her culinary masterpiece — a unique Waffle House burger — in a video that quickly went viral. (Scroll to the end for the full video.)
And the concept is pretty simple: a bacon cheeseburger with waffles instead of buns.
“Ok. Be for real. Be for real, you ain’t never had nothing this,” she said, showing off the waffle burger.
Shantell, who appears to be extremely pregnant in her other videos, hashtagged it #pregnancycravings.
It makes sense, this waffle burger definitely seems like something a pregnant lady would crave.
But other people thought the Frankenstein burger looked good, too. Her video went viral, with more than 4.9 million views.
In the comments, she shared the secret of how she made it.
OK so it’s a Texas bacon melt, with a few substitutions. Lots of people hailed her genius.
If you’re wondering, Waffle House does have burgers — but none with waffles instead of buns. Maybe they’ll add it to the menu now, considering how popular Shantell’s video is online.
