Ladies, if you have to go through elaborate entrapment scenarios to figure out if your boyfriend is faithful or not, he most definitely is not. And if he is, you should spend that time concocting tests talking to a therapist instead.
TikToker Lottie Passco was correct that her boyfriend was cheating, but it doesn’t seem to have made her happier to know the truth. She did share her technique in an interview with The Sun about her viral TikTok.
She says she got suspicious when she noticed he had a Tinder account when they were together, and that his Snapchat score was going up. She asked her best friend, Meg, to message him on Instagram with her fake account and see if he started flirting.
He immediately did.
Meg sent Lottie screenshots of their DMs, in which he asks the girl if she minds that he’s “ages away,” with no mention of the having a girlfriend thing. The convo then moves to Snapchat.
Her friend seems kind of grossed out and worried about Lottie’s feelings and asks if she should continue.
“I don’t want to be a mug again so I’d rather find out now than waste my time again,” says Lottie.
In another video, Lottie explains that she was a mug before.
“The whole reason why we did this is because my boyfriend previously cheated on me and had a Tinder account for like a month or two over my birthday and everything,” she said. “Within an hour of talking to this ‘girl’ he had made a fake Snapchat account so they could talk without me knowing and was sending a lot of inappropriate things. The only thing he said to stop them was the fact that he lived far away and not the fact that he was with me.”
Lottie confronted her boyfriend with the evidence.
“I left him instantly and dropped his stuff around at his house, and he burst into tears and all of this and then I found out that he had a Tinder account the whole of our relationship, which was over a year,” she said. She’s also dating someone new.
A true success story, and soon she and Meg will be recruited by 10 Downing Street for a little espionage.
