So. Something happened last night. Agents of chaos? Incompetent bureaucrats? A faulty app? Dark lords? Aliens? A wizard? Whatever went wrong, it’s clear the 2020 Iowa Caucus was a total disaster, but at least we’ve got some Iowa Caucus memes.
The Iowa Democratic Party took steps to make sure the caucuses were more transparent after the neck and neck outcome in 2016 between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders. But there were problems with the voting app, delays reporting results, conspiracy theories, and unchecked exclamations of victory by numerous candidates.
We still don’t have answers, so stay tuned. In the meantime, check out these Iowa Caucus memes that express so eloquently the trash fire the 2020 Iowa Caucus has been.
