Dog-owners, rejoice! Lindsey Shelton (@linds.shelton) shared a TikTok of her clipping her dog’s nails with ease, and people love her hack.

Her TikTok has already been liked over 481,000 times, and viewers are amazed they’ve never seen this trick before. Before Shelton started clipping, she wrapped her head in saran wrap and spread peanut butter on her forehead.
Admittedly, it does look a little “dorky,” as Shelton’s partner says in the video, but it works wonders.
Shelton then kneeled down with her head in front of her dog while went to work. The peanut butter distracted her dog, and let Shelton clip his nails in piece. Genius!

Shelton has two dogs, Schmidt and Murphy. Schmidt, who was in the TikTok, let Shelton clip all his nails, and Murphy, who is a bit more difficult, let her cut three.
Shelton told BuzzFeed this was her first time trying the peanut butter trick, but it worked so well she will definitely be using it from here on out.
