Jake Paul is a YouTuber, Instagram star, and influencer which are three different ways to say he’s famous, annoying, and contributes little to society.
So when someone who’s basically known for making goofy videos tries to get “deep” and address serious subjects in a superficial way…you’d best believe they’re going to get roasted.
Paul, who is the brother of the equally famous and dubious social media star Logan Paul, spoke out on Twitter to address the topic of anxiety with a bland directive that people suffering from the disorder should recognize that their anxiety is created by them and should “chill.”
People didn’t take kindly to the suggestion that they were responsible for their mental health problems, nor were they impressed by the influencer’s lame advice to “chill your mind out.”
Jake Paul has since deleted his anxiety tweet after a torrent of sarcastic roasts dunked him into oblivion.
thanks jake! you actually just cured my anxiety! anytime i feel a panic attack coming along i will simply ᶜʰᶦˡˡ ᵐʸ ᵐᶦⁿᵈ! throwing out my lexapro as we speak https://t.co/4Rrs04GdQf

telling people with anxiety to just stop having anxiety does not help them with their anxiety.
