When I was growing up, I never heard an apology from either of my parents even when they were clearly in the wrong. It was like they saw saying “sorry” as a sign of weakness or something. I always figured that was how all Boomer parents were and that younger parents are different, but this Twitter thread by @flstinifaerie proved me wrong.
They wrote “apologize like ur parents, go,” a few days ago, and quickly went viral, racking up over 50K likes and 20K replies from people whose parents don’t know how to admit they’re wrong.
