Older generations tend to look down upon younger generations. In their eyes, millennials and Gen Z’ers are lazy, lack work ethic, and don’t know what it’s like to have a hard life like they did in their day. These are obviously ridiculous and unfair generalizations, but hey, whatever gets Baby Boomers through their days.
However, those of us in our teens, twenties and even thirties know that life is totally different now than it was 50 or even 20 years ago. That’s why these jokes resonate so much and will have anyone under the age of 40 rolling with laughter.
