Tom Hanks’ Twitter is basically a lost and found.
Tom Hanks has been described as “America’s dad” because he’s an affable, comforting presence who’s been in our lives for decades through his films.
The actor, who battled coronavirus earlier this year, is a father in the literal sense but is also a dad in the spiritual sense. As with most dads, this is never more apparent than when he cracks a joke. Case in point is the actor’s Twitter account, which is largely dedicated to cataloging random lost items that he comes across in the course of his daily life.
Lost gloves and shoes are an apparent area of great interest for Hanks but so are other fallen oddities that he duly documents and shares with his 16 million Twitter followers for reasons unknown.
It might be the strongest dad move we’ve ever seen and his penchant for signing his tweets “Hanx” takes it to another level.
