There’s been a lot of talk about “grooming” in the news lately.
If you’re not familiar with the term, grooming is when an older person gains an underage person’s trust through gifts and/or attention in an attempt to develop a relationship with them.
While this is often how men prey on young women, grooming has also been in the news when speaking about drag queens, namely those who have participated in a book reading for children.
These claims are wildly off base.

The most common scenario is when folks like Christian YouTuber Joshua Wesley get their hooks into a child they have influence over.
You may remember Josh when he went viral a while back for this horrifying post.
Apparently, the age of consent in Germany is 14, which is when they started dating, but c’mon, Josh. You were 20. We see you.
Anyway, the news cycle rolls on and the public gaze moves on to other issues, and as vast an ocean as the internet is, the tides will always bring things back around.
With “grooming” back in the news, guess who washed ashore once again?

If you’re looking for a good counter to a Christian saying the LGBT+ community if full of groomers, this is a Mike Tyson uppercut.
Since this tweet blew up, it got folks discussing how disgusting this is again. The comments are just as brutal as the first time this surfaced.
Plus it is pretty damning
On his Insta, Youth Pastor Joshua Wesely identifies Isabelle as his girlfriend as early as Feb 2017, when he was 19yo and she was 13yo.
