Prisoners Are Sharing The Creative (And Often Banned) Things They Figured Out How To Make While Incarcerated

Prisoners have a lot of time on their hands. You’re supposed to use it to reflect on whatever crime got you there in the first place, but that probably gets really boring after the first half-hour or so. Why not make something cool instead?

People who have never been to jail don’t know a lot about what it’s really like behind bars. Reddit group r/PrisonWallet allows people to see a little of what it’s like through users sharing interesting things inmates made with limited materials they have and a lot of creativity.

You might notice we didn’t include any handmade shanks or license plates. That’s because it bums people out! Enjoy!
