Life isn’t fair, sure. And in a world of 7+ billion people, it’s impossible to treat everyone the same, all the time.

But that doesn’t mean it’s not upsetting that rules and norms apply to some people and not to others. In fact, that’s what makes it so upsetting. It seems like if we’re gonna be out here setting standards we should think about setting them for everyone, and if they don’t apply to everyone, maybe back to the drawing board?
