Chrissy Teigen has been open about the struggles 2020 has brought to her family.
This fall, Teigen suffered a miscarriage and — while her wounds were fresh — shared her story with the world.
Since the traumatic event, she has allowed us on part of her family’s healing journey.
She’s posted videos and pictures of how daughter Luna is coping with baby brother Jack’s death, as well as shared her own feelings.
Teigen’s fans recently got a glimpse of a glowing, happy Chrissy in a video she recently uploaded to Instagram.
Currently vacationing with her family in St. Barts, the video shows a peppy Teigen in a swimsuit, dancing and singing “Good morning, good morning!”
As we wrap up this hellish year, her silliness is welcomed.
Jokingly, one Instagram user asked what drugs she was on to make her so peppy in the morning. Turns out, none.
What a wonderful accomplishment!
People noticed the comment and began sending Teigen messages of support and congratulations.
A few people even shared their own sobriety with Teigen.
In 2017, Teigen shared with Cosmopolitan that she went sober, saying she had to fix herself. In the interview, Her beverage of choice was a Red Bull.
She told the interviewer she wanted to do a reset on her health.
“I was, point blank, just drinking too much.”
Being a model, TV personality and perpetual awards show guest, Teigen spent many hours in the makeup chair, a great place to enjoy a glass of wine.
“I got used to being in hair and makeup and having a glass of wine,” she said. “Then that glass of wine would carry over into me having one before the awards show. And then a bunch at the awards show. And then I felt bad for making kind of an ass of myself to people that I really respected. And that feeling, there’s just nothing like that. You feel horrible. It’s not a good look for me, for John, for anybody.”
It’s wonderful to see Teigen getting back to what makes her feel healthiest. Congrats!
