January Jones is a gift.
In fact, if you’ve been following her Instagram throughout this whole, you know, global pandemic, you might agree that she’s one of the only good things about it.
From her impromptu Risky Business recreation…
To her 1/2 thirst trap, 1/2 Breast Cancer Awareness month post…
She’s been a delight to follow, and the hits keep on coming.
Like this week when, the hilarious actor told the National Enquirer where to go after getting wind of the tabloid’s plans to write an article about how desperate she had become and how worried her friends were over Jones’ “attention grabbing bikini pictures.” So Jones posted some more.
Jones posted a screenshot of an email from the National Enquirer that offered her team an opportunity to comment on her bikini selfies.
“The National Enquirer is preparing to publish a story which reports January Jones has worried friends with her series of attention-grabbing bikini pictures and social media posts,” the email said. “Sources claim her content smacks of a “desperate cry for attention’ and note how her acting work appears to have dried up before the pandemic took hold.”
Jones, who has given life to many people during quarantine with her delightfully unhinged Instagram content, clearly didn’t care about the upcoming article: “S—t. They’ve discovered my secret. Consider this my public apology to my ‘friends,'” she wrote.
Celebrity friends like Kate Bosworth, Kiernan Shipka, Brooklyn Decker, Jaime King, and Chrissy Teigen all laughed at Jones’ f*** you to the tabloid.
“It was me. I’m worried !!!!!!!!” Teigen wrote.
Then, an hour after posting the screenshot, Jones shared a picture of herself wearing a pink bikini and giving the camera the finger.
She captioned the shot, “Had to do it. #DESPERATE.”
Folks, keep on doing whatever you need to do to stay sane and in good humor during these trying times. Post all the bikini selfies if you want.
