Photo Of Adam Driver And Lady Gaga From The New Gucci Movie Gets The Meme Treatment

Lady Gaga gave us a little surprise yesterday.

Gaga uploaded a photo of her and notoriously absent-from-social-media Adam Driver.

The two are co-starring in the upcoming film, House of Gucci, which is currently filming.

In the film, Driver plays Maurizio Gucci, with Gaga portraying his wife, Patrizia Reggiani.

The film is being directed by Ridley Scott and is based on Reggiani’s plot to have Gucci killed. (If anyone can pull off this acting feat, it’s Gaga.)

The film also stars Al Pacino, Jared Leto and Jeremy Irons and is scheduled for release November 2021. The film is based on the 2001 book The House of Gucci: A Sensational Story of Murder, Madness, Glamour, and Greed.

The now-iconic image immediately got the meme treatment, with people loving the dressed-up duo, especially Driver’s cable-knit sweater.

Naturally, it recalled images of another famous cream cable-knit sweater — the one Chris Evans wore in Knives Out.

The film’s official Twitter account even had something to say about it.
