The Internet Is Convinced That OJ Simpson Was Khloe Kardashian’s Father

In the labyrinth of Hollywood rumors and celebrity sagas, few tales have captivated and confounded the public like the swirling speculation that O.J. Simpson might be Khloé Kardashian‘s biological father.

This gossip took on a life of its own, especially after Kris Jenner’s bombshell revelations in her memoir and the death of O.J. Simpson.

Robert Kardashian’s ex-wife says he admitted that “Khloé is not his kid.”

The roots of this rumor stretch back to the publication of Kris Jenner’s memoir, “Kris Jenner and All Things Kardashian,” where she candidly admitted to having an affair during her marriage to Robert Kardashian.

After Robert’s death, his then-wife, Jan Ashley, claimed he confessed that “Khloé is not his kid.” Ashley said: “He just kind of looked at me and said [it] like it was a matter of fact,” adding fuel to the speculative fire.

Robert Kardashian was a high-profile lawyer who served on Simpson’s ‘Dream Team’ defense during the notorious 1995 murder trial. Simpson was acquitted of the murder of his ex-wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and Ron Goldman, in a case that divided America.

But their ties date back further even further. Simpson and Robert Kardashian became friends in the ’70s and the NFL Hall of Famer said he is Kim Kardashian’s godfather. Kris Jenner was best friends with Nicole Brown Simpson, and the four of them were known to frequent lavish parties together.

The OJ trial caused turmoil in the Kardashian family

When the murder trial began, the Kardashian family was divided. Kris sat on the side of the courtroom populated by the Brown family. Meanwhile, Kim, Khloe and Kourtney sat on their father’s side.

“One day my dad took me and Kourtney in to the trial, and my mom happened to be sitting with Nicole’s family, and we looked over and my mom’s, like, looking at us like, ‘What are you girls doing here and why are you sitting on that side?'” Kim Kardashian said.

She added, “It was like the first time my family really got divided.”

OJ’s death has given the rumors new life

In the wake of O.J. Simpson’s death from prostate cancer on April 11, the rumor mill churned once again. Amidst the outpouring of reactions, Khloé found herself the recipient of “condolences” on social media, a stark reminder of the persistent rumor.

Despite this, both Simpson and Khloé have vehemently denied these claims. On the “Full Send” podcast, Simpson addressed the rumors head-on, stating, “The rumor ain’t true. It’s not even anywhere close to being true.”

In 2019, OJ posted on Twitter: “I want to stress never – in any way, shape, or form had I ever had any interest in Kris, romantically, sexually, and I never got any indication that she had any interest in me… So all of these stories are just bogus. Bad, you know, tasteless.”

He added: “Khloe, like all the [Kardashian] girls, I’m very proud of, just like I know Bob would be if he was here.” Bob was the nickname given to Robert. “But the simple fact of the matter is she’s not mine.”

Khloé’s response to the paternity speculation was equally forthright. During a poignant episode of “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” Kris Jenner’s attempt to convince Khloé to undergo a DNA test was met with resolute dismissal. Khloé declared, “My dad is Robert Kardashian. My other dad is [Caitlyn] Jenner. I don’t need someone to tell me who my family is.”
