If you live in a big city, chances are, you rely mostly (or solely) on public transportation. Which also means you are fully aware of the fact that being on a public buss, subway, tram, and train is like stepping into a different world, with its own set of rules.
Where people have free rein to carry, eat, and generally just do whatever the hell they please, largely without consequence.
Life on public transportation can be beautiful. Poignant, artistic, and heartbreaking. It could also foul, scary, and just plain nasty. It spans the realm of all humanity. It is the great equalizer. You get it.
