Anyone who has ever downloaded Tinder knows it can be somewhat of a mixed bag. Even on a good day, there’s a whole lot of weirdness that goes on in the swiping universe.
However, every now and then the app proves itself to be worthy of our time. This is especially true for one heroic woman who was able to solve a crime after matching with both thief and victim on Tinder in the same evening.
This is Tinder user and amateur sleuth Emily Cochran.

Emily was swiping through the popular dating app Tuesday evening when she matched with 19-year-old Drew who shared that he found a rack of LaCroix on the sidewalk and took it home.

Shortly after, Emily also matched with UC Berkley student Raymond who shared that he had recently been a victim of theft.
I mean, what are the chances!?
Once she realized that she was talking to both victim and thief, Emily took to Twitter to share the crazy coincidence.

“IM TALKING TO A GUY WHO GOT HIS LACROIX STOLEN, AND THE GUY WHO STOLE HIS LACROIX. CAN YOU BELIEVE THIS,” Cochran tweeted.
Her post has since garnered more than 270K likes and 53K retweets.
Then, she filled her two matches in on the situation and added them on Snapchat hoping for more info.
“The coincidence was too crazy for me to make up, I had to add them on Snapchat for updates,” Emily told The Daily Dot.
About an hour later, Emily shared an update saying that Drew and Raymond had met up and all was returned. The pair even shared a LaCroix in Emily’s honor.
